I moved to Italy seven years ago. It was incredibly challenging but now I feel at peace. I’ll never speak perfectly or understand everything, but when watching the birds in my garden, or waiting for the sunset, or walking my sweet dog, or enjoying the company of my husband….I feel accomplished and at rest.
